relish它強調(diào)的是"get pleasure"或者"want very much to do …" ,有“享受”、“喜歡”之意,和enjoy特別相近,用法上也是一樣的,enjoy / relish + n. / v.-ing / pron.
relish
vt. 品嘗,品味;給…加佐料,調(diào)味;欣賞
vi. 有滋味;有…的味道
n. 味道,滋味;調(diào)味品;引起興趣的東西
e.g.But they say they can go only so far , so fast without compromising tastes consumers have come to relish or salt 's ability to preserve food .
但他們說在不對消費者喜歡的味道或鹽保存食物的功能上作出讓步的情況下,他們只能做到這一步,做得這么快。
enjoy的用法
①to get pleasure from sth. 享受……的樂趣;欣賞;喜愛
這個意思和relish沒差別了,可以互換。

enjoy oneself這個結(jié)構(gòu),我翻了很多例句,并沒有發(fā)現(xiàn)relish oneself的用法。
另外,enjoy的第三和第四個意思也是relish所沒有的。
③[formal] to have sth. good that is an advantage to you 享有;享受
e.g. He's always enjoyed good health
?、躘informal] used to say that you hope sb. gets pleasure sth. that you are giving them or recommending to them
e.g. Here's the book that I promised you, enjoy it!
In general, 兩者的差別可能就在于只有當(dāng)enjoy取第①個意思時才是可替代的,其他情況下,enjoy的意義是不能被relish替代的。
